We just heard the bad news today – Oak Park Brewery is now closed permanently!! I am very sad I never got to visit it. There is no word yet if they will be able to re-open in the future.

Well I was bummed. Moms say I couldn’t go to the breweries today, I was under the weather, (so they say, I felt fine) they went without me. But they came back and told me all about it.
The first brewery they went to was Oak Park Brewery in Sacramento.
This brewery is located in the Oak Park neighborhood of Sacramento at Broadway and 36th St., southeast of downtown Sacramento. This area, especially along the Broadway corridor, is undergoing a revitalization. Oak Park Brewing has been part of the changes since they opened in 2013. They provide a nice neighborhood gathering place.
Since they serve lunch and dinner, I can not go inside the pub, but there is a great patio area, with lots of shading, where I can hang out.

Moms say the interior of the pub is very nice, decorated in a “Steam Punk” or industrial style.

They stayed inside and ate a great lunch and had a beer to fuel them for the rest of their beer adventure, without me…..
