The patio and taproom at Secret Trail

Our first Brewery post!! Moms and I decided our first post would be at Chico, California’s newest brewery and first ever taproom, Secret Trail Brewing. My first time here was in November 2017, the day after they opened.

Today was an unusually warm day in Chico and lots of pups, parents and kids came out to enjoy the outdoor patio. We decided to go into the taproom and find my place in the corner.

I was treated like royalty. Owner Michelle Barrett came over to see me. She gave me a biscuit made from the spent grains leftover from the brewing process. That was yummy!
We later got to go into the brewery for a picture.
All of the owners and staff are very friendly and willing to take the time to chat. Owners Charlie, Michelle and Jessie along with brewer Jake can often times be found in the taproom, getting to know their community. Secret Trail is open six days a week now. They have food trucks there on a regular basis. Some times we like to stop at the Sub Station for a sub-sandwich and take it to Secret Trail to eat. The Sub Station is only about a hundred yards from Secret Trail and they have great sandwiches, that is when my moms let me sample some.
