March 24, 2018

I have been sooooo bored since I broke my leg.  Moms saw this and decided to take me on a long R-I-D-E.  We went to the Amador wine country first, so moms could pick up some wine.  I had to stay in the car…

On the way back we stopped at Fort Rock Brewing in Rancho Cordova.  Moms had been here in February, when I could not go.  So it was cool that I got to go in this time.

The brewery is in the Nimbus Winery building in Rancho Cordova.  We know the building is old, parts of it over 100 years old, but moms could not find any other history on it.  The building was revamped in 2014 and retailers started to move into it, like the Old Spaghetti Factory.  Fort Rock opened in there in March of 2017 – only one year ago!

I knew we are a good spot when I saw the paw print on the door.

There is a lot of room in the tap room.  These pictures were taken on a Tuesday, when moms went with out me.

When we were there on a Saturday the whole place was filled.  There were kids and dogs and moms and dads all over the place.  It was fun.  I met some small dogs, but I could not play because of my leg.  I just wagged at them.

We are looking forward to coming back here again.  They are already talking about expanding the size of the taproom.  More dogs to meet!

If you show up there hungry, you can order off a to go menu from the Old Spaghetti Factory.  They will deliver it to you in the taproom.

Of course I had to get my picture taken
